I was playing around with Blender’s array modifier and wound up with this. Perfect for dual screen users. I’m including a .blend file for the curious, that has a nodes setup to change edge color and pellet color without rerendering.

Modeled and rendered with Blender. This was my first time playing with blender halos and flares. I had to mess around with the settings quite a bit before i got where I was going but I’m pretty happy with the flare effect. I rendered at 2960×1050, as a dual-screen wallpaper for my 12″ and 20″ [...]
